Welcome!

Hi! We are Mark and Tiffany. Welcome to our adoption blog! We are trying to adopt a baby, and would love it if you would take a look around the site, and refer others to our site as well.

If you are unexpectedly expecting a baby, please keep us in your thoughts, and feel free to contact us or our adoption counselor! We are comfortable with out of state adoptions and open adoptions.

If someone you know is unexpectedly expecting, and is considering adoption, please refer them to our blog!

A Few Pics From Utah, And A Visit From Our Friends!

We were able to visit Utah a few weeks back, and thought we would show some pictures from that visit. Tiff had a really fun time shopping with her sister Stephanie, at the mall. We also spent some time grilling food and playing games with Stephanie and her husband, Gene. We also had a really fun time playing with our nephew Ethan.

Please ignore the big soda cup in the front of the picture! Gene is always lugging around a soda with him!

We also were able to have a really fun visit with our friends from Oklahoma. They were on their way from Alaska back to OK, and had a layover here in Denver. We were really excited to see them, so we went to the airport with some lunch and had a great time!

Finished Cabinets

We finished painting our cabinets last week, and now we are getting ready to paint the walls. We haven’t settled on a color yet, and are trying out a few different samples to see what we like. Here are a couple of pictures of the kitchen now, with the cabinets finished. It turned out so well, we are really excited!

Kitchen Remodel

We have decided to work on our kitchen a bit, to make it nicer. We haven’t finished yet, but it should be done very soon!

Tiff did some research online to find what exactly we wanted to do, and we decided to paint the bottom cupboards a dark red, and the upper cupboards a cream color. The walls will be a light green. It probably sounds weird, but it is going to end up really cute!

Here are a few pictures of our progress. The brown is what we started with, and the rest are how things are moving along! We will be sure to post the final pictures when we are finished as well! We hope to be finished by Saturday evening, but we’ll see! I suppose you never really can tell how long something will take.

Road Trip!

This past Labor Day weekend, we took a quick road trip to visit family in Utah. Tiffany’s sister and her husband gave birth to a little girl a couple weeks ago, and we had to move quick to make our claim as favorite aunt and uncle. I know we may be a bit biased, but she is the cutest darn little newborn! Here is a picture of us with our niece and nephew. They’re so much fun!

When driving through Wyoming on the way to Utah, we always drive by a marked ”Point of Interest”, in which we have never really thought was interesting enough to stop. However, on our trip back we were feeling like we needed a stretch and thought we might give it a shot. What makes it interesting? It’s a pine tree coming out of a big rock. Check it out!

Here’s Tiffany and Mark with the “Tree Rock”.

It’s interesting!
All in all, it was a great trip. Getting to spend time with our niece and nephew makes us that much more excited to adopt a child of our own someday! Bye until next time!

Adoption Video

Below is a video that hopefully let's you know more about us, and what we like to do. Enjoy!

Summer Campout!

We were able to take a weekend to go camping last weekend, and had such a good time! We had perfect weather, and found a beautiful, secluded spot with a creek running behind it!
We had originally planned to go up Guanilla Pass, just outside of Georgetown, but when we got there, the pass was closed due to a rock slide. We were grateful that we didn’t go earlier, otherwise we may have been stuck! While Mark took our dog, Queso for a little walk, I (Tiffany) ran into a gas station and spoke with an employee who gave directions to a different campground. What a perfect location she sent us to! It was very close by Georgetown, so we didn’t have to drive far, and it was quiet and secluded! Nobody else came to that area the whole time! It was a lot of fun.

We were able to build a big fire, and have tin foil dinners and s’mores. Once the fire burned down, we watched the stars, and just relaxed. It was beautiful!
In the morning, we enjoyed a slow breakfast of oranges and cookies (breakfast of champions!), packed up and drove back down to the Georgetown lake. It was nice to take a slow stroll around it with Queso jogging along next to us. There were plenty of people fishing, although we never saw anyone catch anything.

Afterwards, we headed back home, and enjoyed the rest of our weekend! What a perfect summer activity, something we will remember for a long time!
